Hands on hatching and help

I just did my day 14 day candling (a day late) and all 18 SHIPPED eggs are still growing strong! Unbelievable! A little over half the eggs are thin-shelled, white, chalky feeling eggs and they are loosing moisture like crazy. Air cells look big and I've been running between 60-45% humidity. The other half look spot on. So I may lockdown early. We'll see! I just can't believe how I lucked out with this batch of shipped eggs.
Oh that's sooo good to hear! :yesss:

Wow! That's awesome!! :yesss:

I also just did my day 14, an evening early. I pulled several clears on day 7, a quitter on day 10, and swapped a couple clears under my broody with good ones from the bator. So now I have 6 serama eggs under the serama broody (she's doing great!) and 10 eggs in the Brinsea - 9 seramas and 1 bantam cochin. They all look pretty good, one badly saddled air cell from the shipped eggs, but the chick is still moving well. One more week!!

Awesome!!!! I just read the "egg coding" that went w/ the ones I set today super excited a lot of different varieties of orps and even a possible frizzle EE I'm so excited hoping the PO didn't mess them up arriving 2 days late....

Mine were late too, lol... a couple extra days for fresh eggs shouldn't hurt... it's the shaken baby syndrome that's the killer... :/

:fl you get a great hatch!!!
