Hands on hatching and help

That's me. They usually stay in the house 10 days. Just to be sure they are all thriving. They stay in the back bathroom. Chicks are not bad. But golly, the ducklings. They really smell in the small room no matter how many times a day they are cleaned. But not knowing how long I would be gone, I moved them on outside. Mind you this was 2 in the morning. I just amazes me that I went to check on them the next afternoon and they were great.

Hubs is just ALITTLE more important. And at times I'd take my critters over him.

I keep my ducks in the house until they are 3 weeks old, OMG, the SMELL is over whelming. AHHHHHHH

@Blooie , are you okay with these pictures?

Yep...and still furiously taking notes! Thanks for asking!!

Edited to add: And if I wasn't okay with them, I know where the 'unsubscribe" button is. Just 'cause there was a chance I might have been a little put-off doesn't mean someone else isn't also taking notes!

You must have a awsome husband. Mine is good until the smells drift thru the whole house. Mainly with the last duckling hatch. There were 12 of them. I must admit that I was ready for them to go out. With the chicks, I can even sneak a hatch in. I got a little hatch happy this year. 3 hatches totaling 28 of my own eggs. Now 32 shipped eggs. Runners from Cyndi and SWH from Sfraker. Then I'm finished ........... Until next time
