Everyone ready for Halloween? It's a bit on the cool side here so we are thinking he might use his Godzilla costume instead of his Mega man because he doesn't want to wear megaman if he has to cover it up with a big coat. I don't think we can layer enough underneath to keep him warm. It's only supposed to be 44F for a high.

We actually take Halloween off for school, so we have plenty of time to figure it. Hope everyone has a fun day and stay safe. Don't let any of those creepy clowns get you!

NO!!!!!!! 84 degrees doesn't feel like Halloween at all. We haven't had a frost or rain even and if the great pumpkin shows up here I'll feed it to my chickens .Hope you guys have fun tomorrow night .

We are hot as crap!!!! We did a trunk or treat tonight and I was sweating my behind off. I felt so bad for the kids in the heavy furry costumes!!! I can't wait to trick or treat tomorrow night. Hopefully it won't be so bad!

Hey all!!! I am going to try and come back on as frequently as I can. It's been crazy since the hurricane hit and we are struggling trying to get back into rhythm. How has everyone been?

I don't think I got to see mega-man totally completed, did I? Post pics if you can. We were in the 50's Friday, 30's Saturday and high 60's yesterday! Just so all over the place...from extra layers to tee-shirts!

Glad to see you!! It sucks up here because so often we are relegated to wearing heavy coats and layers of clothes and it wrecks the whole costume thing. Last year was beautiful.

We had one day in the high 50's the last couple are mid 40's. To orrow is supposed to be nice-of course. I put pics on fb, but you had your nose stuck in your books...lol I'll share a couple just special for you..lol There was still a couple tweaking that needed to be done, but these were pretty much final product pics...lol

We got 2 layers of clothes under the suit and went out to see how it was going to work...lol He thinks it will be ok. We'll have a jacket and the other costume just to be sure. Both lights at the ears light up, the mega blaster and the energy bar on the mega blaster light up, so he'll be good and seen....lol

Check these out - Katie had this costume first....we got it for her because her nickname was "Bug". Then she handed it down to Kendra. Kendra does NOT look happy at the prospect of wearing years of Katie's hand-me-downs if they'are all like this!

I think one of my favorite costumes on my son was a Crayola crayon.

Well, it looks like I'll be hatching again before I "planned" to.... I just won a dozen hatching eggs from My Pet Chicken!
