My lovely little model ham of a duck wanted to post his pictures of him celebrating the 4th of July in style....

His awesome special harness, shoes, and leash.... He plans on wearing the harness and leash out tomorrow for his walk (He only wore the shoes for fun... Moxy will actually wear the shoes for medical reasons, she has a boo boo right now).

We'll make sure to take some pictures while he's out for his walk! He always gets a lot of comments and questions when he's out. He also gets pet the most out of the ducks, and likes ot ham it up for people... silly duck....

My ducks are in for some private fireworks. I wonder if I should lock them up in their duck house or keep them in their pen so they can watch it. You cannot use any rockets in Oregon, nor would I want to with the high risk of wild fires. We mainly use sparklers in our large parking lot. Our parking lot is big enough for big trucks to turn around when they deliver to our mail order business. I think it is 200x80 feet large, and we fire off on the further end away from the shop and duck house. The fireworks do make popping sounds but no loud explosions. Our ducks are quite nosy and wonder, if they would love to watch it. I guess we will see how they react to the first one. I can always round them up and put them into their house, if they are scared.
