I read somewhere that black dogs and black cats are the least adopted colors out of shelters.
Super sad. Black is one of my favorite colors for a cat, And black dogs are beautiful.

Yup! It’s true and so sad a lot of people are scared of them unfortunately. Especially black cats. It extends to dogs too

I know, it's sad. I think sometimes it's because people don't like "plain" colored animals, and adopt the ones they think are prettier, not by their personality.

Love dobies! We've had two, both black. In fact, ALL of our dogs have been black! Two dobes, two adoptees.
