Happy Days

It must be happy days in my quail pens. The little guys are calling out all throughout the day into late evenings. They are 7 week olds a group of 20 coturnix & british range & tibetan.
My other pen of 5 week olds mixed tuxedoes is quite for now,there are 15 in that bunch anxiously awaiting eggs.
All my eggs were hatched in my incubator some eggs where purchased from BYC members others from a hatchery.
I only have 2 white quail to breed tuxs,not sure how to sex the white quail any ideas?

sexing white quail, if they are 6 weeks or older hte roos will have a swollen vent which if pressed foam comes out of (not sperm). In my tutorial I have a video about it.


That or sit at the pens when you start noticing they are crowing, grab teh crower and mark him with food coloring or a marker
