I made this recipe for my chickens and they love it! That's why I'm sharing it with all of you for your chickens too!
All you have to do is combine these ingredients! Keep in mind that this recipie satisfies around 5 - 8 chickens so you can double, triple the recipie etc to feed your flock! Also, make sure not to overfeed this to your flock, two to three times a week at the most.
INGREDIENTS
-1/2 Cup plain oats
-2 crushed eggshells (crush them good so the hen does not recognize them as her own to prevent egg-eating.)
-2/3 cup black oil sunflower seeds (otherwise other types of sunflower seeds work too.)
-4 slices diced apple
-2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella
OPTIONAL- 1/3 cup dried mealworms
