Hardware cloth seems to "rule the roost" here, but I don't use it at all. I use 1/2 inch by 1 inch welded/galvanized wire. Much stronger than hardware cloth and easier to work with IMO.

Agrees, but probably more expensive tho.
What gauge is wire and what are your roll size/costs??

The last I bought off amazon.. the price has been fluctuating almost weekly from 64 to $84 for a 4' x 50' roll of 1/2"... so I bought when it was $66
I have weasels and they can get through any opening bigger than 1/2".. weasels are in 49 of the 50 states

I did find a local place here by us that has it for $1/ft. The best deal I have found actually.

I have weasels and they can get through any opening bigger than 1/2".. weasels are in 49 of the 50 states

So what is the one state without weasels. I live in Arizona, never seen them or heard of them around here.

Hawaii. most people never see them... lady I just got 3 turkeys from said the only one she seen was in the coop .. it killed all the birds and was too full to get back out the 1" hole it came in during the night
