Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

Oh they’re lovely! Do you know what they are or are they mixed/mystery breed? (Sorry if you’ve already said and I missed it)

Well, I'm not exactly sure.... I have BO and RIR hens but I thought the only hens actually laying right now were my RIR.

I have 2 EE roosters... The black rooster is the dominant one but I've seen both breeding the hens. I got the roos at TSC (labeled as Ameracaunas) so it's anyone's guess what they are.

Hey, anyone have any idea how many goose eggs will fit in the NR without the turner? I know they won't fit in the turner, but I'm planning on hatching some goslings this spring and I was curious. :)

I sure do! lol
If all of these were fertilized it obviously would not have worked out for hatch but for an example.

I agree, I would guess the white one fathered the light colored chick. The two chicks kind of look like I would imagine the roosters looked when they were babies.

I think you are right. I found a picture from last spring of the roosters when they were babies. All of the babies were brown except one. The white rooster was the only yellow chick I had. Looking at the babies in the photo, the yellow chick has a black spot on his head....😂 I tried to zoom in to show it better.

So it looks like 13? Awesome, thank you!!! Do you have geese? I never knew!

Yes, 13 large goose eggs, 11-12 if you expect them to all hatch. I knew that a lot of these had a low chance of hatching so I incubated all of them to see what I would get. They also can't stay in the incubator long because it's short in there for the goslings.

I don't have geese but I love hatching them. They're like the puppies if the poultry world. Lol

My shipped eggs just arrived at the post office, a day early!!! :celebrateI have 22 (half Crested cream Legbar and half Silverudd Blue)! My first go with shipped eggs so I decided to get some local Welsummer, Welsummer/ CCL mix and Welsummer/ starlight green mix to put in another incubator so I won’t end up 💔 if the shipped eggs don’t go well!

I’ve seen in some of the photos of the NR 360 people using the cabinet foam stuff, do you put that in on day 18 at lock down or the entire time? I know it’s to make clean up easier and more gentle on the chicks feet but does it effect airflow at all? Also, do most people mark their eggs? I’ve never marked aircells before but think I’m going to this round. When I remove to candle do I mark it while it’s upright? Any photos, or special instructions with the NR 360 would be much appreciated!!
