Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

This incubator is an egg killing machine!

I simply did not have time to read through 403 pages. If it is a faulty unit, there is no way to contact the company to get it replaced because they do not respond. I have done my best by posting my research and study on this machine. And it’s just not my machine, I have read many many posts and read comments on YouTube videos with others having the same issue. If others would like to take the chance, so be it. I will no longer post when I find there to be a tremendous problem with a machine and a company. Well you believe you have a newer model, there is no way you can know how long the product you purchased sat on the shelf. There is no date on the unit that I know of. There is probably a good chance that your unit was made prior to sometime in 2022 when they became egg killing machines.

No one should have to spend almost $200 on a product and then have to read over 400 pages on a forum to get help for a product that is, or has, killed their eggs. However, I will no longer speak up on any of these issues, and I am now deleting all of my posts on other threads about how horrible this machine is. Everyone that agrees with your post can go ahead and purchase the machine and have their eggs die, or suffer through trying to figure out how to save them with no help from customer service whatsoever. In fact, I will never again post a response to anyone on backyard chicken again. I will use this forum only to help myself should I need it.
I was checking to see if they were ok because the power had gone out. Where did you buy it from?

I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with your incubator. Even with reliable brands, there will always be some "bag eggs" with incubators. I have owned many many brands, including Brinsea and Hovabator which are both commonly loved brands and I had vastly differing experiences. I have had 3 NR360s, all different models and the results were very consistent for me, fortunately.

I've also talked to customer service multiple times and while not the fastest, they have always gotten back to me. I have heard from others that it's not always the case though.

I understand you feel adamantly, any bad hatching experience will leave a bad taste in your mouth but I realize my bad experience with Hovabator wasn't a common one and while I did receive your message about reporting the thread, I don't feel it's necessary for me to remove the thread because there are still a lot of really happy NR360 users and I feel this thread is still helpful and valid for a lot of people.

Again, I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience.

I also haven't dismissed your experience or feelings on this and I am looking into it further.

This thread is how I learned a ton of stuff! What an internal pip looks like, using shelf liner for an easier cleaning experience and a little cushioning for the littles, to wrap it in a blanket if/when the power goes out, removing the B plug for added ventilation, and a lot about shipped eggs! I appreciate this thread and all the knowledgeable folks who have taken the time to educate me and others like me!

I’m glad this thread is helpful for everyone. Personally, I will no longer offer what I believe to be helpful advice in any situation, and will be going through all of my posts for the past several years and deleting any that contradict the thoughts of the majority. Part of the reason I felt so strongly about this particular post is because there are currently three posts in the past few days that talk about how bad their NR 360 is, and how it is killing their babies to be. I have too much of a heart to want to help others, so I will now be bowing out. Thank you for your response. Hugs to all that may be struggling with this machine and may end up as hurt as I did.

Please don't delete your comments throughout BYC. It's the collection of opinions and experiences that make this forum what it is.

Question: my next batch will be here Thursday-ish, hatch day is Friday, should I just leave them to rest and rotate side to side for a couple days? Or....? Suggestions...

That's totally up to you but yes that's probably what I would do in your situation. I would wait until after the hatch is complete so you can disinfect the incubator before setting the new eggs just to make things easier.
