To make the auto turner work again you can just reset the number of incubation days each time you fill the incubator. It has a feature where it shuts off automatically on day 18 so if you leave it on zero it won't turn.
Also the manufacturer recommends using distilled water, I've been using that and I fill it morning and evening and haven't had any issues with humidity. I do live in Georgia, which is like living in a sauna but my incubators are indoors where the AC/heat keep the air dry. I also fill the reservoir all the way and just open the vent wider. It lasts quite a long time when you do that.

I use distilled water so iron and calcium doesn't build up in reservoirs....in any incubator.

I am so happy I stumbled upon this threat about the 360, I need a really good incubator, I just pitched my Hovabator still air 'bator because I was having SUCH a hard time really being able to hatch my Seramas out of it. I've been getting really discouraged, I had only one hatch out of I don't even know how many times I've tried. I know Seramas can be tough to hatch, and I was taking an even greater risk with shipped eggs, BUT. I had lots that started, then just quit.

I think having a better/more equipped incubator is going to make all the difference. Headed out to my local TSC to pick up the bad boy soon!

I'm glad you found the thread helpful! I've been extremely happy with both of my Nurture Right 360 incubators and my friend bought one at my recommendation and she had a 100% hatch with her first use! I will say I haven't used shipped eggs yet myself but we were discussing the hatch rates in a Facebook group I'm in and someone had a 64% hatch rate on shipped eggs so I'd say that's still pretty good! This was our conversation if you're interested, we were discussing the humidity and hatch rates.

Im finishing up my first hatch in the nr360. I did a dry hatch. I’m almost on the third hour of day 21 and I have 5/7 (and one unzipping now) black copper marans that have hatched. 2/4 (other two are pipped) polish, and 6/6 light Brahmas that have hatched. I am very pleased with it. 13 total have hatched in 16 hours. And the copper that is unzipping is now pushing.

Aww! So exciting! Hatching chicks seriously never gets old for me! I said I was going to stop for the season but after talking to several of my chicken friends I now have Speckled Sussex, Blue/Splash/Black Copper Marans, and Cream Legbars hatching next week and agreed to hatch Mottled English Orpingtons, Gold Laced Orpingtons, and the big test Mallards!
I can't tell anyone no because I just love hatching them so much, lol.

Aww! So exciting! Hatching chicks seriously never gets old for me! I said I was going to stop for the season but after talking to several of my chicken friends I now have Speckled Sussex, Blue/Splash/Black Copper Marans, and Cream Legbars hatching next week and agreed to hatch Mottled English Orpingtons, Gold Laced Orpingtons, and the big test Mallards!
I can't tell anyone no because I just love hatching them so much, lol.

Lol. When this hatch is over I’m going to try my hand at turkey and peacock eggs for a friend. Her birds are not going broody so I’m going to help her out. I’m so excited to try that hatch. I live incubating and hatching.

Nice! You'll have to let us know how the hatch goes! If the eggs are too large and get caught up when you test the turner you may need to hand turn them. @kdwellssr mentioned experimenting with a rubber spray to get the eggs to grip better, looking forward to seeing how that works out! I also considered if it's not too thick that the rubbery shelf liner with little holes in it may help with the grip on larger eggs. I'm going to be tinkering with it a bit when I hatch the Mallards. I had a mat under my turner this time around. I’ve seen her turkey eggs and I think they will fit in the outer slots. If not I don’t mind hand turning. Here is the mat I used. It allowed plenty of airflow. Oh and my little polish baby that just hatched. Lol.

Eeek! I love Polish chickens! Their afros are the best! That looks really similar to the material I was thinking of using! Is it a style of drawer liner as well or a mat that is specifically used for Hatching?
