Six, and all six hatched themselves at least a day ahead of the ducks. Lazy ducks : p

First time hatching anything, so 11/12 isn't bad. It is fun to hatch, too. A couple years ago, I spent $28 for four keets, now we have six more for free : D

My girlfriend ordered some lavender eggs online to go with our pearls, those are still a couple days out. Then hopefully in a few months we'll have a big, obnoxious, annoying, and slightly more colorful flock Love those tick munchers.

So far so good. Very steady temps, and even the humidity had smallish, more consistent variations.

I haven't added a drip of water from day 1.

I really wish this group of eggs had been in better condition when they arrived. Tomorrow (day 7) I'll probably be down to one incubator ☹.

I just got a few shipments of shipped eggs as well and USPS was not kind. I have all of the chicken eggs set in the NR360s and the goose eggs in the IncuView. I'm not feeling good about the goose eggs though. I've never received eggs that looked this bad even when they were packaged really well.

Yep... exactly. A number of air cells were saddled. Others detached completely.

Ugh.

Same here. The air cells are completely detached and most look scrambled but I'm still incubating them for now and crossing my fingers. They were of course really expensive...we live and we learn I guess. Goose eggs don't like the postal service. Lol

Lots of fluid mass to slosh around in a big old goose egg .

This set of 23 was $85 shipped. Going to be 50% or less if I'm lucky I think...but I'll know better tomorrow when I candle.

That's so weird! I typed up a long response and it disappeared when I clicked post.

In short, 50% is actually considered a good hatch with shipped eggs. I have my fingers crossed for both of us! Good luck!

I have 6 eggs that show development out of my first dozen and the other 2 dozen I just set today so we'll see! I feel your pain though! Those goose eggs set me back $122.50, if I even get one to hatch I would feel better but it's not looking promising. I'll try to focus on the chicken eggs though. They also were handled rough but I feel better seeing that I have 50% developing on the first round and the other two didn't arrive as rough as the first. "
