i liked the movie, as i've liked ALL the harry potter movies. however, the ending was a bit of a let down for me. so much tension and excitement, and then Neville?? really? neville longbottom?
also would have liked to see it end before they went 19 years into the future. didn't need to see that, it took away from the feeling of the segment just before it.
i've tried to say this all without spoiling it for anyone who hasn't seen it. if you've seen it, hopefully you know what i'm talking about
definitely a must see, though - but, only after you've seen part 1
part 1 sets the mood for both movies, that they are a dark time, much more serious than the first movies. as each movie came out, the movies got darker and darker, more and more small child appropriate. not saying that's a bad thing, i just wouldn't take my daughter to see DH parts 1&2, when she has seen the first several with no issues.
