Finally, someone that agrees with the reviews I've read. The consensus was that there was too much wandering around in the woods plus, in order to get too films out of one, there was a lot of drag to this movie. Hopefully the final will be a rip-snorting, knock-down battle.

True, but without the first part of the movie the second part would make absolutely no sense. It was necessary for two parts...breaking it into a single movie would have left out many important details and made the movie an awful thing to try to follow.
