gas is lingering around $1.89 here but 2 weeks ago I went to the mill for feed and it had gone down but only a little, I dont pay tax on it as we put it on my dads farm.

I haven't seen any downward motion on groceries here...it sure would help. They keep talking on TV about retailers slashing prices of their products but so far I've only seen small reductions on some things...I want to know where all these great deals are they keep talking about.

Yes!!! Our feed went down almost $2 !!!! Boy was I excited!! It takes a lot of feed for 63 chickens. Plus we have all different ages, so we need 3 kinds of feed + scratch! I was soooo happy, and right before the holidays. Perfect timing!!

Someone needs to inform our TSC about the price reduction!

I went to get a bag of chick starter, shelf sticker said $15.29...go to pay and total was over $17. Look at the receipt and it was over $16 for the feed. Apparently the price went up, not down.

I second that! Same here for 24% chick starter. Diesel is $2.95 a gallon and kerosene $2.99. I hope everybody remembers the oil prices for along time. Next hurricane the oil companies will be begging the govt. for free $. It may be a global economy but how much domestic oil do we sell abroad? Who makes the American oil producers go along with the middle-eastern pricing? Main cause of global economy was the price of gas! You can't blame foreigners for the price of domestic oil. I did not see any arm twisting!

I don't shop at TSC...their prices are too high.

We have a MACI FEED & SUPPLY that's closer to me than TSC; they are a national chain and their prices are WAY better.
