Birds have lungs and air sacs, and I think the abdominal air sacs might be in that area, though I am not sure. It's just a guess.I’m not sure what you mean??

I will look that up..thank you. Everything seems normal from my experience but I am definitely not an expert on chick anatomy eitherBirds have lungs and air sacs, and I think the abdominal air sacs might be in that are, though I am not sure. It's just a guess.
They are, underneath the thighs. Most birds have 9 such air sacs.Birds have lungs and air sacs, and I think the abdominal air sacs might be in that area, though I am not sure. It's just a guess.
So they don't extend across the belly? They are, underneath the thighs. Most birds have 9 such air sacs.
I thought you had a diagram of the air sacs?Birds have lungs and air sacs, and I think the abdominal air sacs might be in that area, though I am not sure. It's just a guess.
I have seen pox but not on a bird that age. I don't know either but was throwing that out. You would think that if one has it then some of the others would show signs, too!I’ve never actually seen fowl pox,but wouldn’t some of the other 60+ birds also show signs if it was? I honestly know nothing about the disease but have seen pictures and none of my birds appear to have anything going on![]()
I do, but I am not sure where they are exactly.I thought you had a diagram of the air sacs?
