Just proves there are loons everywhere.

No government will last more than a few hundred years before it crashes an has to start over. Our democratic republic is called the great experiment for a reason, no one was sure how long it would hold up. I don't believe the founders of our country though it would last anywhere near as long as it has. Our country is still the strongest in the world but to stay that way it will require our government to be restructured eventually. Thats just life.


Why at this point do we even need representatives at all. We could now vote on everything cheaper an faster than paying a house of representatives an congressmen. If we threw them out for popular vote an kept the president an supreme court then we would be more informed as a country an also get rid of most of the political crap.

A democratic republic works but it needs to evolve. Its time for that evolution.

Geez, IDK.... I won't comment to much on this except: I don't care for how that was written, but..... Its something to think about! Look at how the bailouts were handled. Look at how big business has high up elected officals in office, look at all the new taxes, and laws... Arizona? Like I said, I won't comment much... I won't give my opionion either...

Yes, I see this. But, I politely disagree.

Yes, Many think some one in Russia is an "expert" on this topic but they are not. Russia was a communist country, not a socialist one. And America was by far much MORE socialist in the early 1950s than it is now. Most people who get into this argument do not really have a good grasp of the difference between capitalism, socialism and communism. There are no countries left that are totally any of these ISMs. The entire world is a mixed market economy. They are all some degree of capitalistic with varying degrees of socialism. The country that remains the closest to communism is North Korea. China left it behind long ago.

What we have now is the worst of both worlds. We have socialism for the rich and capitalism for the rest of us. We can none of us do anything about this issue when too few of us understand it. (I agree completely on the dumbing down of the people)

What we really need to recognize is that these are all man-made constructs which means they are all open to improvement. Invent a new one.
