I am actually going to get that 15.00 ebay thing. I did not know they could be that cheap!!! Looks like your going to have to turn on the bator. So sad... I'd like to know who it is. What an invasion! There should be some consequences.

btw: we like how you feel about your job... thats how it should be. We home school and love it, teach writing and science classes and love it....... the kids need more people who love to teach

I was thinking the same as pringle, this person might not have known anything about chickens so just went for the pretty looking birds?

If it is really a human thief , I would think they would either steal or destroy the camera if it is possible .
Managment had a security camera mounted to stop tools being stolen from the maintainance dept. where I used to work . Amongst the items lost on the next weekend was the camera

, but the ladder used to reach it was evidently too long to haul away . I always figured it was fellow employee with the sticky fingers , and losses did slow down after they knew attempts were being made to catch them .
I do hope the OP is successful at solving this problem .

You may be missing something. If they are all males my first thought was cock fighters. You have some interesting looking breeds there that were taken. Cock fighting is a big deal with some folks. Lock em' up. We had a pet rooster at the fair and several times we had to get after men who were poking at the cages trying to get him to fan out and attack their hand through the cage.

Sorry to offer such a depressing suggestion but it does still go on today.

I thought about that right away since I live in an area that the biggest income for years was chicken fights. I really don't think that is it. They are unique looking birds, no one around here has any like them so they will stand out like a sore thumb if anyone sees them.
Flowers of Abba thank you for saying that, with so many on here on an anti-teacher binge again it's nice to hear that.
