AnimalLover- Woooohooooo!!!
Ceocka- Better to error on the side of letting it go. If it did die that late it wouldn't be about to explode or anything and if it didn't die it would be a shame to remove a viable embryo.
Good luck to you both!!!
Gah, can't get the pictures to download for some reason but I have two chicks out at the moment!!!e

Awesome! I am hoping to see some of that live in a few days! And 12/15 chicks is great for a first hatch! Here's a video of one of mine hatchingStill had a bit of yolk on it when it pushed out but she's ok.
It was so much fun. but make that 13/15 now!! The last one that wasn't quite ready is finally out. It seemed like it was shrink wrapped inside but I left it till I saw the veins thin up and the the chick started pushing out through the hole i made and wasn't making it so I helped it with the top part of the shell and let it kick the bottom off itself. It had the same gunk stuck to it like the other one I assisted that had pipped at the wrong end and refused to zip, snipped some of it off but didn't pull of course so that she didnt drag the shell around like the other did for a while. But after all the research I did I made sure not to over assist those two and I got them out safely. Sally Sunshines page was really helpful and a lot of other threads on here. Everyone here is so sweet and helpful. Those two are still in the incubator drying off.Awesome! I am hoping to see some of that live in a few days! And 12/15 chicks is great for a first hatch!
