Next week will be a barnyard mix of chicken eggs. I think I have 3 dozen or so coming. I can hatch 103 eggs in my two incubators, but for now, we are looking at just testing my incubators and how bad the PO is with hatching eggs down here.

so what are you going to set??? Im going only 6 call eggs and about 25 pekins. Any info on the ducks I been reading and that gets to be everyone has their own thing. I read a doc of poultry report science and it says like 80 % then 90% at lock down ,nothing about cooling and misting??? Ant ideas For this first timer of ducks ???I have chicken and quail for Tues/Wen fingers crossed for my 2 hatch Calls duck are so sweet but sooooo very loud

I collected eggs from my ducks last year to incubate and I didn’t realize that I collected a chicken egg as well and I ended up with a duck named Carmel and a chicken named Sofia

I have 26 Cayuga eggs that I received yesterday that I want to start tomorrow or Sunday. I am waiting for 5 more Khaki Campbell eggs to hatch of 6.

I have done that. I am looking at the eggs we just collected and being I do not have roosters I am a bit annoyed.

This is why I have pigs.... I would hard boil them and feed them to the pigs. If I could I would buy a couple of dozen

I have someone that is supposed to be shipping me some White Bresse chicken eggs on Monday, so they should be here and set during the time frame that you mentioned. I had to buy a 2nd incubator. The 1st one has B/B/S Australorp eggs, and some Naked Neck crosses in it. The White Breese ones will go into my 2nd incubator.

I have a 7 egg incubator that I won in drawing I entered thinking I will never win. The 96 egg one DH got me from Amazon. We ended up getting a partial refund as the package was damaged to the point the packing styrofoam was damaged. Incubator keeps temp and has not in my test runs varied.

Go get over the cold. Hope it is not what I had a few weeks ago. Luckily my boys can cook a bit without me. They were able to tend me as I was down for 3 days with a fever.

Thanks...I'm doing better, it's always worse at night. But these guys do pretty good taking care of stuff so I can rest when I need to.

The Swedish ducks were an accident they were the last two in the bin and the manager told us a buck each and we could have them. Just happened there was a boy and a girl in there lol
