Guess mine was busy hatching while I was posting that last note lol. Put my kids to bed, went upstairs and heard lots of peeping and there it was already out of the shell! Well I hope little chick get a sibling to play with soon. Seems so lonely. Hatch day is officially tomorrow.. certainly baby will have a friend by then?!

congrats - mine were due tomorrow too. i have three dry ones already. 2 more seem to be making their move. 1 pipped 10 hrs ago but just in holding pattern.

Here's babe #2 I was able to catch the hatch so heres some hatch pics..












It was soo cool to watch!! Both chicks piped at the same time around 10:30 this morning and hatched between 3 hours of eachother. One at 7:30pm and the next at 10pm. About9-12hours later.. Once they started to zip it was a matter of 5 min before they were completely out of the shell.

I HAVE A GOOD UPDATE!!! Hope started peeping!!! I woke up this morning, and I could even hear it over the extremely loud fish tanks in my room, and it was so cute!! The most wonderfully beautiful-est noise to wake up to in my books! It hasn't made any progress hatching, but it has sort of popped up a piece of the shell to breathe better and peep louder! I am so excited. Hope is going to hatch today!! Come on, fuzzy butt!!

Okay, I couldn't help myself from checking the egg and breaking a bigger breathing hole. It looks good, I have pictures!!!

And after! Is it me, or is the beak really big??? it stopped peeping, but I took a video of it moving it's beak. It was kind of lazily picking at the shell as if it could care less if it got out... Is it not ready to come out? It sure is taking its time!
