We have a tropical depression hanging over us. Its 815 am and 80F 96% humidity. Inside the bators its 55. So much for dry hatch. Lol.

Internet is really slow this morning. I cant see any of OGMs pics of my former chicks but I am site they are cute. I will probably go to the town 20km away today. I am making a 6ft diameter brooder out of flat galvanized metal sheeting. It will be in a concrete floored out building. With a coconut plantation comes a lot of rats ( small ones thank God) so the metal will stop the little buggars trying to get in.

I have ordered 200 lengths of bamboo about 1.5 inches in diameter to make the walls of the coop. They are 3 cents each. I need 200 lengths of nipa thatching for the roof. They are 8 cents. The floor will be thicker bamboo slate from some big construction bamboo I have lying around. The posts for their run are teak that a friend of mine with a tree plantation needs to thin out.

Its a different world here.
