My incubator is holding at 99.4 and 51% humidity. Hope it continues to be easy like this. Dot (my turkey hen) won't let me see anything! It's killing me...I want to make sure all are ok and see how many have hatched. Scott says we should leave her be so she doesn't go off the remaining eggs...which means, I'll have to look when he is not around. LOL =)
We put The Dorking Sisters and our little Cuckoo Marans in with the big girls last night, I hate the first couple days where they get picked on. We have one Delaware and she is just horrid. I haven't named her yet, because I can't seem to come up with a nice name. I might just give into it and name her Dinner or Entree.. keep telling her she is going to be dinner if she doesn't behave. She does run by attacks. It's pretty sad when I find myself cheering on the occasions when my turkey tom pecks her for being a brat.
I'm enjoying reading about everyone elses experiences and questions =)
