They just absorbed the yolk so they should not actually need water or food for 48-72 hrs,
that said my Maran & Ame chicks started eatting eggshell & drinking drops of moisture around the bator a few hrs after hatch.

But you don't want to open the lid if you have other eggs pipped.

Also, make sure you put marbles or similar in a very shallow water dish (like a plastic lid from something) so they can get just a drop of
water between marbles, but if they fall asleep into the water would lad on marbles & avoid drowning.

oUr two chickies are doing great this morning they have been very active all night.. they look so silly trying to run around..we took the other egg that was in lockdown out to candle and it looked like it died during lockdown so it looks like we will only get two from the 6 that we started with but we are getting more tomorrow to put in the bator Haha!
