hatch chick with yolk sac

Is the chick completely out of the egg? Sometimes they have some yolk still attached after hatching that doesn't absorb, but it will dry up and fall off and they will be fine. All you can do is keep an eye on him. Don't try to remove it.

I incubated 5 duck eggs earlier this Spring and one still had its yolk sac. I read to boil a egg and with a q-tip feed the yolk to the duckling and water. I did not think it would work...but within 6 hours and still in the incubator it was happy and healthy!!!
 
No..It dosnt look like that one in the picture. Thank god.When it moved around on the mesh in the incubator. The yellow stuff busted. Now it looks normal except it looks a little red but. I think it will be ok.
