Pips have started a day early. Temp and humidity were fine all along. Maybe I'll have something waiting for me when I get home from work.

I am having a horrid DAY - - the temps aren't hold right today.

It was 97 in there for most of the day. I raised the temp and my humidity dropped. . .

I just misted the eggs to add humidity back in AND heard peeping. . .

I don't see anything, but I heard something

Son called me, no fully hatched chicks just yet, but as he described it, "there are many cracked eggs!"

We've got baby chicks!! 2/2 hatched this morning! They're doing great and our momma broody hen is watchful like she should be!

I'm on day 20, got the eggs on 10/14 ( how do you count correctly when the eggs come thru the mail??) and staring at that lone egg willing it to crack/pip/somethiong please I am going nuts with the anticipation here

Ya'll are way ahead of me! I just went into lockdown yesterday. Still have 6 in the incubator; I didn't pull the one I don't think is any good, stuck it off to the side. We're due to hatch Friday. Wow I might see activity tomorrow. With my broody hatch, we saw pips late on day 20 and hatching on 21, but that's under perfect conditions.

Where are the baby pics?!

I am due to hatch today, when I went to work this morning I didn't see anything happening yet. Cant wait to get off work!!
