Hatch date of April 17th! Anybody with me?

I am up to 6 duckies with at least 3 pips, one may have died though because I haven't seen any movement in awhile. The eggs has a good size hole and little fuzzies were sticking out, but now he doesn't move, or respond to my tapping.

3 of the duckies were moved to the brooder because they were pickin on the newly hatched 3.... Eating the yuck off of them pretty roughtly...

I was soooo hoping for all 11 to hatch!!

I have more eggs in my other LG that go into LD May 2nd. They are just from my own ducks (Pekins) I REALLY want to hatch some chicken eggs though. All I have right now are 2 hens (no rooster) and then 1 week old Silkies. I can't afford any of the expensive eggs on here though. Being a stay at home mom doesn't pay that well surprisingly...

I wouldn't have it any other way though!

Lets get this thread goin, I need something to pass the time so I don't feel tempted to help the one I think is dead.

They are all mixed eggs. I got them from TattooQ27!

She told me the drake is a Pekin, and the hens are Ancona, Welsh Harlequin and Swedish.

Yeah, they do look alike!! I got one that looks kind of silvery. I'll take a pic when she's dry. My fav so far, cuz she's original.
