I didn’t get a refund for the experience because I kinda felt bad, I had the impression that this person was a hobbyist and I would feel mean saying anything. I know that’s just me probably being too nice but I really do feel bad saying something


They had refunded me for the cracked eggs on arrival at least.
I did think about the dry hatch method! I’m not sure if it’s possible for me though, indoors I’m at a consistent 40% humidity and when I used the incubator with no added water it was the same. I did see some videos of people doing the dry hatch method with quail eggs on YouTube so I definitely think it works! I could probably get away with adding no water, but I do think the hatch rates may get reduced since quail eggs are so dense and the humidity helps soften them up.
