I have both broody hen on day 10 and Incubator on day 10 so im ahead a little

Great... you can consider putting the hatching chicks from the incubator with the mother when they hatch.. she'll raise them all.... we had a chicken raise about 40 chicks in the past.... and all was well... we need pics when the big day arrives... ;)

It finally worked!!!! These are my pair of pigeons incubating tow chicken eggs... one of them is for the broody in the profile pic... this pic is from 3 months ago and more.. they both hatched.... the hens in the picture's egg hatches a naked neck chick.... he's now a cockerel... and the other hatched a beautiful pullet... I assisted in the hatching of the naked neck as he was stuck to the membrane....

I didn't get pics of my broody yet... but will get tomorrow.... but I have more pics of everything....
I have a concern now.... I noticed that my broody have mites.... I was soooo scared that I found these creepy little monsters hanging to that feather that fell off her.... I hate them to death... we didn't have parasites problems a long time ago.... I'm afraid of a bad infastation that will probably be lethal to the chicks and harm the whole flock.... and especially if the get a hold on us and it will infest our house.... it's probably from the wild birds... anyways.... our coop is not like standard backyard coops... its buil up of stone and wood with wire and a metal roofing.... and we have some roosts made of wood packed on each other with other material in the coop..I'm afraid that if I would get these out these crawling monsters would get on me.... I know I should treat the chickens from them especially before the peeps hatch.... but I don't know how to end the life cycle of the mites.... the are clearly visible to the naked eye... they are greyish with black spots or something.... so what type are they..... I really hate approaching to my chickens now... especially the coop..... lots of cracks and narrow places for them to hide in.... actually I don't know if they are the type that hide in cracks during the day and come to the host at night... what is a final solution for them... I want to pump medicine in that coop quickly with a insecticide pumper.... what do you guys think.... what med that is strong will I use... I don't care if it was chemical and will harm the environment a bit.... because that's a bad time thinking about the environment... I want to solve it as quickly as possible.... I'm having bad dreams about them and every time I feel itchy I creap out..... I can't spend the night without thinking about themm..... helpp...

Your pigeons are beatuiful colours. Did i read that right your pigeons brooding chicken eggs i never knew they would do that you learn something new everyday amazing. mites can be a problem here to. i use fire or what is called a blow torch to do the our sleeping boxes and a powder that i get at the vet is sprinkled before i lay new hay. all the the chooks are sprayed with a lice spray and their legs are treated with eucalyptus oil. i burn all soiled bedding and contaminated food. Its done on fornightly schedule through the spring summer autumn, its not so bad in winter. i also quarrantine any birds i purchase for 6-8 weeks in a separate shed.

Day 6 of incubation.. Were trying to find the best light source for candling all the eggs tomorrow and my dads old slide projector actually gave us the best light... Tomorrow night we candle all the eggs

slide projector that's brilliantly ingenious. I use the phone torch that is when I actually do it and that mainly auction eggs I do. I trust most of my own pens and I put all eggs other people want done through to 28days. I send any unhatched egg with the owner on the day they pick their chicks up so they can open them. Majd I does candle and seems knowledgeable on the subject. my incubator would cool down too much if i tried to candle them all. I fill the mine to capicity it seems to run better.
