That's total BS, they were never going to ship. Hot weather is a good excuse for not shipping, many breeders will do that. However, they made it seem that they set aside specific eggs and ducklings for you way back in April/May. They would be too old for safe shipping in June or July. That's what's weird about this whole thing. Hatcheries usually ship either day-olds or adults, not one or two month old ducklings. I'm curious about the hatchery, too, but it sounds like it's too small and might not be one that people would know or usually choose, especially if it's on the East Coast.
