I've got five Silkie eggs in the bator. Two should pip some time tomorrow, two on Tues. or Wed. One is from my Cuckoo roo/Calico hen. Three are from my Black roo/Blue hen, Sadly, the one I was really excited about I think quit between day 8 and 14, but I was hoping so left it in. It would have been my youngest blue hen's first chick by my Splash roo. (his first too)

She went broody on me a couple of weeks ago so I put another egg under her last weekend.
I candled that egg tonight while she was off it and we have veining.

If it makes it, it'll be a Halloween hatch.

It's from my older blue hen so will be a blue or black.

Just two chicks have hatched stiil. I think I hear chirping, but I'm not sure. I don't know if I should help or what now. It'll be day 22 soon.

2 have hatched and most eggs have pips!

However the 2 chicks are kicking the other eggs around....will that be a problem????? When should I take the chicks out????
