4 babies so far (21 days is late tonight). We have 3 Barred Bantam Cochins and 1 Penedesenca. 2 of the BBC's hatched late last night, so I took them out tonight. The other 2 are still wet in the bator with the eggs still to hatch

These guys are SO tiny. I can't wait for the Serama babies next week...fingers crossed

So tonight marks the end of DAY 21 and still 9 eggs have yet to PIP (3 have hatched)! Am i just being impatient and anxious? Shouldn't i have seen some action by now? How 'bout the rest of you? And for your very experienced hatchers, whats the longest you've waited for a hatch?

Rarebreed where did you get your Penedesencas from??? i have been wanting some. do they really lay black eggs?

Ttotal today in the brooder, 5 Penedesenca & 3 Barred Bantam Cochin. There's another Pene in the bator wet with an icky naval. I left it in there for now. 3 eggs left to go
