Today is day 23!!! Going into lockdown soon, i'm confused though because some of them look almost ready to make the internal pip, but one doesn't even have veins all the way around the egg! Its still alive though. One of them has extremely large/thick veins.. never seen that before. this is so exciting!! I really hope I have some duckies soon!!! Monday is my moms birthday so it would be cool if they started hatching then :) I am really worried about the smallest egg, it's really tiny, and Im worried the chick won't be able to fully form inside the small space :(

Just keep watching each day....if they pip early put in lockdown and up humidity immediately. It will be ok...and just to let you know it can take a while for them to hatch after the pip. Best of luck!

Aww I'm sorry. :( I had a late quitter from this hatch. It was already all colored up black & yellow.. It was beautiful. :(

I'm trying not to focus on it too much, because my other seven are starting to make the internal pip!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this is a long shot but........ **I hope I wake up to a duckling in my incubator**!

My quitter stopped growing a week or two before it actually died. I think I mentioned a couple times hesitating taking it out, even though I knew something was way wrong. It was moving a lot but like half the size ofthe rest at full term.

Once the others started hatch process it finally died on its own and started smelling.. Over the course of like a day. Ew.
