Hatching Coturnix Quail

So my quail are hatching today and wanted to know what humidity y’all put yours on during hatching and does anyone know these colors?

I up my humidity to maybe 45-50 at lockdown, but it spikes to the 70s once they’ve started hatching, due to the chicks being wet.

in photo 1, center is scarlet, north is pharaoh, south looks probably pharaoh, and the others are rosetta looking and will probably have a lot of wild pattern influence, but it’s hard to say with wet chicks. It’s easiest with dry chicks in bright light.

I'm in Hawaii where the humidity chooses itself. First 14 days, dry incubation. Last 3 days, water in the reservoir and a moist sponge in the hatching area. Nature is more forgiving if I don't tinker with it too much.

Okay next question. How long do y’all leave your babies in while you’re waiting on the rest to hatch. I’ve seen everything from, as soon as dry as long as nobody is pipping/zipping to three days

Do you worry about shrink wrapping one that you may not be able to see they pipped?
