Hatching cracked egg

Hello! I have some eggs incubating currently on day 3.Yesterday when I turned the eggs, one of my egg got smashed when the top of the incubator sat on it( Igot shipped eggs, and the seller sent a couple more than I ordered so I put them all in the incubator, the bonus ones on top of the ones i ordered).So, the egg got crushed on day 2 of incubation, the crack looked sunken in.I immediately put melted candle wax all over the crack.Today is beginning of day four of incubation and i candled the eggs and the cracked egg has a developing embrio.Is there a chance that it cand survive all 21 days of incubation and hatch safely?

It may very well remain viable. I'd candle periodically to make sure it has not spoiled.

Here is a recent thread where @CloverTheRabbit saved a severely cracked egg. Your egg embryo is much earlier in incubation so could be more likely to be contaminated and die, but yes there's hope! Let us know what happens with your crushed egg; it helps everyone learn.

So far it looks like the egg may have stopped developping.I put it back in the incubator and i will candle it again tonight or tomorow to be sure that it stopped

So, i took a peak at the egg again and the embrio is still viable.Turns out that what i saw earlier in the day was a pencil line from when i marked the eggs.It is really hard to see through the layer of wax..

Sadly, the egg got the ring of death.I opened the egg after i candled it and it sure was dead

I've never been able to save a crushed egg. But the thread I linked earlier proves it can be done, and it's always worth a try. I hope you have a good hatch!
