i woke up and a 3rd chick has hatched

I candled last night on day 3 out of curiosity and of the 5 random eggs I candeled 3 had veining! But when I checked the bator 20 mins ago the lid was slightly ajar and the temp was 93. Please say I didn't kill my poor babies.

At the most I'd say it's been dropping for 10 hours. but possibly only for 3....Guess I'll candle again tonight and see if they're still alive...

H'ok...still only the 1 peep out of my hens, the other 3 were duds, sigh.
BUT
I still have 24 other eggs (bantam) incubating and today is day 20.
Fingers crossed and SO hopeful I get at least a 50% hatch.
I'll be doing Auerecanas (sp) end of the month and bought a hygrometer for that hatch.
temps have been, I've kept it moist and added more 2 days ago for the hatching.
This is so hard yet so great!

they may be fine mine have dropped even lower and i still got chicks. So im gonna move the three hatched chicks over to mama but will that cause problems with chicks still in their eggs? I use a hova bator with a fan, the temp dosnt always stay steady but it works!

Such a nice hatch so far. 10th just hatched and 11th is starting to zip. Last 2 are Americana cross BLRW and no pips yet.

A lite one and 4 dark ones? what are they?
who cares! hehehe I'l check the egg shells later.
There are s'pposed to be cochin bantans and maybe frizzles,
hoping for buff brahmas, then some partridge bantams too.
SO exciting!!!
