Ha me too! They were so cute! And then my dad launched into a jest about how he had to pay 60 bucks for mail-order ducklings when he could get some right here? Lol
Their peeps were soo cute! And I had forgotten how tiny ducklings were!

So cute! You've done a great job with them, chickens really!! Thank you so much for documenting everyone's progress! This is a real learning experience and an explosion of cute ducks!!

In other news, I went shopping at TSC today! There were little ducklings in there.. So cute! Mostly khakis, Pekins, and Rouens. Took all my willpower to talk away...

Thanks for enjoying my Ducks and my rambling about them....;).....It was neat seeing Petunia stealing my Ducklings from me...DW was not as impressed by them, although he never was really aggressive either...:)

I bet it was hard not wanting those Ducklings...;)....your little Poopers are going to be with you very soon...;)....Yippee!!....:)

Yeah, well, they won't be tiny for long....my "little" 2-week old duck-lets are now getting HUGE and of course messing up the brooder every day. Today they got their first fresh baby peas, which they promptly fished out of the bottom of the water dish/pond and after squeezing out the yummy middle, they discarded the skins all over the floor. Even little Sweetums was diving for peas. She is about half the size of the other ducks. I'm gonna have to get a picture when I can get better lighting, the infrared heat lamp makes for a lousy photo. I noticed they all wanted to be under the heat lamp after swimming, so I cancelled my plan to let them go outside for a while later this week when it will be over 70.

Ten days left! Lol
We bought all their stuff this weekend (Brooder, food, grit, etc). So excited!

I have a question for you. I remember you saying once that some of your ducks imprinted on you, but still went outside. That makes sense to me, because ducklings in the wild imprint on their mom and eventually leave her, but everything I have read says that you shouldn't let your ducklings imprint on you. Why? How do you make it so that they imprint but don't break down when you leave them?
