Looking for a dozen hatching eggs for a broody hen. Looking for either meat breeds or layers, no "true" Dual Purpose. Would be happy with B&C Marans, Easter Eggers, Australorps, Sex Links, Cornish Crosses, Freedom Rangers, Ameracauna or other quality breeds. Within an hour of the east side of Cleveland. I have a pair of meaty purebred Barred Rocks in my breeding pen now. I could send you a couple fresh eggs tomorrow for the cost of shipping, if that will help. I'm in SE Ohio.

That could work out well...! Do you think that UPS ground shipping would work? According to UPS it'll get the eggs here in 48 hours, the temperatures are pretty room-temperature mild right now and goodness knows my broody's not going anywhere... This is her fourth time trying to brood this year! How many would you be willing to send? I'd like her to hatch out a reasonable number, would six be OK?
