I need to know who has chickens that lay big white eggs. I am assuming those are the easiest to candle. I am lending my incubator to a preschool teacher in a few weeks and I thought those would be easiest for the kids to see. So now I need to know who to stalk!

I have White Leghorns and Super Blue Egg Layers.....

How big are normal hens? My cornish girls are between 9lbs and 11lbs. The turkey hens are literally 2/3rds of my five year ols son at 20lbs (okay, my five year old weighs the same as my three year old, he's pretty tiny) , but still, 20lbs, and they were on a very strict diet and exercise plan!

Thank you, but she would like to stick to chicks. I have runners and those are bomb proof as well, although they either stopped laying for the last few days, or found a new place to hide their eggs.
