Good golly was today ever an eventful day. Four kids all morning, then took the boys to my brother after watching his kids, went to the house for the inspection, got G's watch battery change, learned that the other jewelery store was robbed just before I went, then ate so much dinner at mom's house that I thought I swallowed a boulder. All while waiting to hear about his job! Talk about having fivethousand things on the mind at once! At least the dealership took him to work and picked him up while the car was inspected so that was one less thing to worry about for me. Whew! Bedtime for the old fart! I hope everyone gets their chickens in great shape!

Ayeupchuck, any news on the bresse?

i'm so sorry. delicately will be praying for her quick recovery and your comfort that she get well. The good Lord has her in his hands!

Everyone please say a prayer for my mom, she had a mild heart attack sunday morn. I"ve got her in the hospital and she seems to be doing a lot better tonight. I know things have to get better soon

ok guys so I went and did evening chores and one of my ameraucana is listless, won't east or drink. I've been watching her for a couple days, she got better with vitamin water and then poof she is bad again.I've quarantined her away from the others but don't think she will make it...any ideas what this is?

How old is she? Is she hunched in and keeping her feathers really puffed up? I have had younger birds with cocci stop eating, get better temporarily with meds and vitamins, then take a turn for the worst. Do you have a pic you can post? Any other symptoms such as respiratory issues?

I just checked tracking and my chicks went through grand rapids, so they should be on the way to my local PO!! I am hoping to get a call in a couple hours to pick them up!!
