G'morning all!!! I had chickies waiting in the hatcher for me this morning; including a little white Legbar. And wow, those Rhodebars do look like Legbars. I had to band the little hen that hatched to identify her from my Legbars.

They do look alike at first. Soon though they'll be showing much more orange than the Legbars and it'll be easy.

Papa.. how is ALL Cuckoo Marans? Maybe 1 or 2 Sexlinked Marans? I don't know why those hens will not lay eggs regularly for me. They finished molting a couple of months ago

Such a nice idea. I have 2 sisters and a brother. We were taught that our birthday was a day to celebrate our mother,so each year on our birthdays we bought presents for her. (we always got something too-but came to appreciate mom more) after she passed, we continued by "gifting" something to someone in her honor. It keeps the memories and traditions alive.

I just love this! What a wonderful way to honor your mom!

I have a little black silkie hatched last night. I checked and he was pipped, went back an hour later and he was out of the shell resting! Super fast hatcher! The other that was pipped at the same time is still just barely zipping! I have another that pipped last night and just finished zipping. Not out of the shell yet. I love hatching day! I have 5 more I am waiting on! Come on little ones! 2 more silkies, 2 sfh and 1 ccl. I would love to have them all hatch!!
