Yay! Here's hoping for a CL pullet!I have a little black silkie hatched last night. I checked and he was pipped, went back an hour later and he was out of the shell resting! Super fast hatcher! The other that was pipped at the same time is still just barely zipping! I have another that pipped last night and just finished zipping. Not out of the shell yet. I love hatching day! I have 5 more I am waiting on! Come on little ones! 2 more silkies, 2 sfh and 1 ccl. I would love to have them all hatch!!
We feed only fermented feed and whole grains to everything here. Everyone from newly hatched to breeders to our goats even love it. Took theoldest chickens about 3 days to really dig in.Good morning. Felt great to sleep in this morning! Still have to work, but doing records today from home. *grin*
Think I might run out and get some ACV and start some fermented feed. At least the chicks, may go to it for all of them if it works out well.
Have eggs in the hatcher, hopefully starting to pip today.![]()
