Yes you may use that. Another product that is good is Sulmet. Sulmet for poultry is about $12 a bottle from Smith Poultry Supply.

thanks guys! the hen that was def infected passed today. but i'm worried about the birds she was with. one of my isbar roosters is showing weak wing carriage today, which he didn't this morning.so I think i'm going to be safe than sorry and treat them all. they are mostly together except my cochins because of rearranging pens. your advice is greatly appreciated!
x2 Sulmet is what we use for cocciodosis.

vegged tonight with some mindless TV. Hope everyone on here had a relaxing evening as well.

WV great news on your mom!

Have family visiting at the first of the week from out of state, so tomorrow is clean up day here in the house.

Saturday is ship day for hatching eggs for swaps

Monday, Tues, Wed are live bird shipping days..

Please make sure we have your address if you have a swap pending or order so I can print labels this weekend. I will be busy, but WILL get everyone their tracking as soon as labels are printed.

Babymakes6...... I havent checked hatch progress tonight, but will post an update in the morning for you. This is a strong gosling, pipping while in the turner 24 hours early so I am not worried at all.

>700 posts!!!! Always a chatty group ya'll are!!! Sorry, but I just had to skip to the end, I"m sure I missed something interesting and educational....

I had to start working full-time this week, to make up the difference while DH is between contracts.... yuck... I haven't worked full-time since I had my first , he is almost 8... been working part-time since then... I am a wimp, I am seriously exhausted tonite... makes me grumpy.... BUT, I need to add that I am VERY grateful to have an education and even have the option of going full-time in my position to be able to make up the difference so we can pay bills (I'm still a little grumpy, tho)

It is supposed to get below zero again here this weekend... BRRRRR soooo glad I don't have to live in the chicken coop, although, I must say it gets pretty toasty in there with all their bodies up on their roosts... And.... for anyone interested... my Heritage Delaware pullets are turning out to be quite cold-hardy, they are still laying about 3 times/wk (I do not run lights), so is my Australorp, the EE is laying 1-2 x's/wk... both of the Orpingtons have quit, interesting, I must say!

G'morning all!!! I had chickies waiting in the hatcher for me this morning; including a little white Legbar. And wow, those Rhodebars do look like Legbars. I had to band the little hen that hatched to identify her from my Legbars.

Celtic! :frow
