The SBEL I have from DM which a friend hatched out is always right there at the door when I go out, but doesn't like to be touched much.... BUT, that said, she has A LOT of personality and is very fun to watch.

On a separate note, the current list is for the this week, only??... I don't know if you are keeping track of this, too KYT or not, but I should have 4 verified swaps, so 3 left before I am unrestricted?? (won't that be nice=)

No, I haven't been keeping track of that, just the current weeks swaps. I am going to try this week to link the sheets of the spreadsheet so I can do that. Stay tuned!

Well if my barred olive eggers EVER get laying...I am sure I owe you eggs from somewhere...sometime or another !

Actually, my splash Ameracuanas have started laying so I'm very close to starting on my splash olive egger project.

I know it's been a couple of days since this post but I thought I would pipe in. I find I like to ship on Saturday also as the packages do seem to move faster.

As to mystdogs statement
I think we can also look at weekend work as maybe they are getting paid overtime and are very happy to get time and half or double time pay. They are usually asked if they want the overtime. If there are temp workers then maybe they are very happy to have the work. I sure have had a few really grumpy full time workers wait on me during Monday and Tuesday.

DH will be working at the farm the next two weeks planting wheat. I usually go with him and hang out with MIL.

Michelle (reesepoultry) can act in my place and make executive decisions if I cannot be reached. Please no fighting and respect her decisions as you do mine.


I want to thank you all for your participation in this swap, it is so much fun. I can't wait until Spring.

Just a reminder if you have any eggs that have not been sent yet, please notify the person getting the eggs and me also.

If your eggs are not getting out in 2 weeks you might want to consider offering alternate eggs or paypal to the person waiting. If they are ok waiting for the eggs let me know that as well. This is no counting Spring Swaps.

Those owning Spring swaps if you haven't done so yet can you please compile a list of people you owe eggs too in the order they will be sent in the Spring. Please send me a copy of your list for my records.

Also I know there maybe someone who can't deliver Spring eggs for whatever reason. Can I get volunteers to offer eggs in case they are needed.

I will start the Spring Egg disaster fund (does anyone want to volunteer to run this)
