that's awesome! and dh looks happy to help!
Yesterday was bath day for most of the chickens going to the show today. Despite having to get 24 birds done in 4 hours, I had to run to the house for the camera. I was trying to make the work a bit more fun while washing his crest, I don't think he was too happy. Shall we name him PeeWee Herman? And DH is a real trooper, I'd wash a serama and pass it over, here was half the set. Deb

Well, I just laid the quail eggs in the hatcher. I actually had one that had pipped already

Great pictures everyone. Sah, you can use the egg turner to hatch in. I've heard of people doing. Woo hoo lunch time.

So my order has been confirmed and paid for!! Now to wait the 4 weeks for my new babies to show up!! It's going to be a long 4 weeks and I can't wait!!!!

For those of you who hatch in cartons, could I use my egg turner trays? I am putting 70 some quail eggs in lockdown, and usually I just lay the eggs on their side and leave them be, but I thought it might be better to place them in something.

I actually use the extra racks I got from a swap on here. Keeps eggs from getting knocked around. Also works very well as there is very little blocking the egg for airflow and pipping. Makes for super easy clean-up too :)
