As The Egg Rolls - The saga continues......

ME - Dear 112oaks,
Eggs arrived today - Not a pretty site....

112oaks - Not much I can say to that...what did the postal service say about it? They should be held responsible for boxes that look like they have been ran over. I'm going to print off these pictures to show my postman. Thats ridiculous!

ME - Dear 112oaks,
The USPS is not responsible unless you purchased insurance on t boxes. They were careless with the package, but you did not have the eggs wrapped and that was a major part of the problem. I feel you should either issue me a refund.

112oaks - you can not purchase insurance on eggs. and did you not see the box . it dont matter how they were wrapped nothing would save them eggs

How does one respond to that!!!!
as others have said............paypal claim first and negative feed back.

$15 shipped for at least 6 eggs.

Oh, no! You're bad for my health! Wonder if you'll have any shipments available after I move? I know I already have some coming, but hey, it couldn't hurt to double that, right? LOL. I mean, let's say I get a 30% hatch rate on what I've got coming, that'd be 4 chicks, then if 75% are boys, I only have one girl... Yeah, I'll have to figure something out to get some more. Let me talk to G about buying more, LOL.

I mailed eggs out yesterday to Michelle (reesepoultry) and beleive it or not she got them today. That has to be some kind of record

and they were all in good shape

That is not the USPS story that I have become accustomed to hearing...

I filed a paypal claim. I asked for a refund. I would not trust him to send me anymore eggs. His feedback was 100%. Everyone seemed pleased with his shipping except for one who gave him good feedback, but complained about shifting eggs.??? Hope they rule in my favor. I will find a new Roo somewhere.... I just get so frustrated with people who do stuff like this....Should have known better....

since you have tried talking with the seller and have pics file a claim on ebay against them. When it comes around escalate it. That pic shows improper packing method. shouldn't take too long.
I had a buyer file 2 claims after I sent eggs because they then wanted to change it to chicks and it was too late. First they wanted express shipping and I always include priority in the price. Told him he would have to pay the difference and he wanted to argue that it was included in the price. Politely asked him to reread it, didn't until 3 weeks later and several nasty emails. The day I told him the second shipment already shipped and it was too late to change it he filed a claim for both auctions. Left + for the first and negative for the second. Ebay upheld my sales and looked through the correspondence with the buyer. For some reason they refunded him on one ??? and didn't charge me. He then claimed I tried getting unfair shipping???? he asked for express pricing.. They don't let the seller leave negative feedback. Not right i don't think. So my 100% rating dropped drastically due to a vindictive buyer..... ah well what do you do?

I saw the feedback. Weird. I don't know how many eggs they have shipped to them though, to know any better? Maybe he's been getting lucky, or they expect to have some broken eggs?!

Hopefully your other buyers make up for it. Most people with sense can tell when the negative feedback is just a person who doesn't know better or just nasty. I got a laugh out of some negative feedback I read the other day. Someone was mad because only 35 out of 45 eggs hatched! Sheesh we should all be so lucky and now that poor seller has a bad mark.

I just looked at my list of eggs from the swap.... If you owe me eggs, please PM me before you send. I am trying to prevent an "overage" if you know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure I have a bad case of "I need some of those" cause I just made a list of what I have and what I have coming and I almost fainted.....23 different breeds...... That's not counting the sub-divisions ie. Silkies (white, splash, black, blue) and so on.... My hubby is going to KILL me if he starts counting

I truly do think I should hatch and look at each breed so I can decide if it is a good fit for me, right????
