I want turkeys sooo badly, but our neighbor makes it impossible. She actually sent me a letter this week asking me to keep my husband "quieter" when he and his friends are close to her property boundary as it "disturbs her peace and tranquility". Wonder what she is going to say when the peacocks realize it's spring????

yes too me those are the only ones that can get annoying. mine don't shut up even when they are let out during the day! I have started to try and ignore them but when I go inside the coop to fill feeders it echos with their chatter.

Yep! That would be me!! We thought about Guineas, but the police department comes out for a visit every time I have a chicken out so I'm not sure how I would keep them in. I guess I could set up a covered pen next to her "tranquility line"....

For real, if I had money, I'd put in an order for 50 guineas, shipped to your place. Ever consider raising pigs? I would so get pigs or put an ad up looking for pig crap and build a compost pit as close to her favorite place as possible.
