I started a log to track my USPS deliveries to see how long it actually takes to ship to my house from across the country. So far, looks like I tend to receive things the day after their estimated arrival. Yes, I'm a dork like that.

Love your new avatar!Really wanting white orps... I have spent around $100 from HinksJC to get eggs that didn't hatch. I know you always take that risk when incubating shipped eggs but, 100% loss is just a bit unfair.

Thanks for the update. Rachael and her family have been in my prayers. I find it so wonderful how I have grown to know you folks and care about your troubles and joys, just through the shared love of poultry. I hope and pray that they all have peace in their hearts in this time of sadness.

My grandmother who is 89, just fractured and dislocated her ankle this afternoon. She is quite the mad horticulturist, and was out in the yard planting the snapdragons she just bought at Lowes. She got up funny, twisted her foot, and "heard a pop." Now my mother who is with her, is looking for an orthopedist.... Why doesn't ER's work on broken bones anymore?
