Sad Hatch Day. 3 hatched out of 9 in lockdown. The other six looked fully formed but didn't pip. Lockdown humidity has been around 50%, and I couldn't seem to get it higher...now that I taped the LG all the way around it's going up to 70%...sigh

I'm so sorry, superjif!

I have some potted citrus. I have two lemon, one lime, one orange, and one tangerine. The only one not in blossom is the tangerine. Periodically I will shake them a little to pollinate. I loose some blossoms, but they are loaded. My husband claims the limes in his beer are the best he's ever had. I just like the smell. You can't make better lemon curd than with those lemons.

we tend to compost more than we can ever use, which is sad. I need to come up with something to do with it all before next winter.

Unless the eggs are to be picked up at the post office? Are they planing to still keep office hours on Saturday? Or is it just the carriers that are off?

Last night my small town had a meeting with management to decide what is happening with our post office. They decided that they are cutting back hours Mon-Fri, but Sat hrs will stay the same. I would think that if they were planning on closing the windows on Sat, they would have said something yesterday. He did hint about Sat delivery being ended.
