Don't you love autocorrect? I'm thinking that I could go for an "aperitif" also. It has been quite the last couple of months at work.

Sorry about your chicks superjjf. I sympathize. I only had 2 out of 24 Red Dorkings hatch and one was not right and died overnight.

I have a question for you guys that are good with Genetics. I picked up 4 Lavender Laced Orpingtons. They were all hens. If I use my Lavender rooster over them, will I get some laced back from it?

I don't think anyone answered you. I am not a guru.....but here is what I am pretty sure is right.

There will be some with incomplete lacing. It would be a couple of years to get them breeding nice lacing, but it is doable. It would be better to try and find a rooster.
